ON WEDNESDAY 3RD MARCH AT 7.30PM IN LYMPSTONE PARISH CHURCH WE PRESENTED THE YOUNG SCOTTISH DUO

Helen Mcleod and Emma Wilkins who performed works for harp and flute by Bizet, Debussy, Ibert, Lutoslawski and others

These two versatile musician, very much in demand as orchestral and chamber players, have performed with all of Scotland's professional orchestras, the Halle and the Northern Sinfonia. They recently won the prestigious Tunnell Trust Award 2009/2010 for Young Musicians. Education and music therapy are also very important to them and since 2007 Emma and Helen have been part of the Live Music Now! scheme, a project set up by Yehudi Menuhin to bring the joy and inspiration of live music to those who have limited access.
